Desktop Gaming vs desktop at home?

I was comparing Velocity Micro Edge Z15 (a system of play) against their Vector Z35 (desktop at home), and when I had everything configured exactly the same, the Z35 desktop at home was $ 70 more expensive. What is the reason for the difference in price and there would be a big difference a game between home and workplace performance? I'm not much of a player, but I need the power for some engineering applications so powerful I am not sure a desktop games would be appropriate. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The comp house Z35 may have had more software installed on it as an office or some productivity software. The processor, video card memory and motherboard dictates the performance of your computer Just have a good processor, motherboard, memory (as much your mobo and OS support, and a good size SATA HDD. Then, obtain an average over the tip of the adapter. A good game platform will run any other application with ease.
